Summer breakfast protein smoothie recipe-
Start your day with my breakfast smoothie, this is great if you are time poor. It is super quick, tasty and will supply your body with a natural source of clean energy. I use a plant based protein powder, and I like to add a superfood to my smoothies, for this one I added combination of Acai and beetroot powder. Superfood powders give a wonderful boost of nutrients, antioxidants, fibre and colour. If you don't have any superfood powders then make it with out.
INGREDIENTS AND METHOD-
1 banana
10 raspberries
10 blueberries
serve of plant based protein powder
1 tsp of superfood powder- (acai beetroot)
1 large mug of ice 1 large mug of chilled water
Place all ingredients together blend well, if it's too thick just add a little more water or ice for desired consistency.
